Hello, my name is Andrew. What you have stumbled upon, dear reader, is my web log. A sort of journal that contains my ramlbings, musings, thoughts, and opinions, covering topics ranging from sports, college life, the military, my alma mater, technical projects, and just about anything else that catches my interest.
I am a cadet at the Virginia Military Institute. A school like no other in the country. It has a proud history, and breeds leaders for all walks of life. I decided to go to school there back in 2006, and will be graduating in 2010. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering and am a complete engineering nerd(enginerd). Upon graduation, I hope to commission into the United States Navy. I have wanted to be a Naval Aviator since I was a small boy and am fascinated by anything and everything having to do with powered flight.
I hope you enjoy what you find here, and come back from time to time to read what I post. Au Revoir.

I just found your blog and I must say that I really enjoyed reading some of your postings. My Epidemiology professor for Mary Baldwin ADP, DR. Hinks, one of VMI’s chemistry professors told me I should consider writing a blog. I was just checking out a few things that interest me, VMI being one of them since my boyfriend goes there. I look forward to reading more about you and the Mother I.
Andrew, you guys put on a great show Saturday for the reunion weekend. Keep up the hard work–back in the ’80s, the ME curriculum only got harder over time, but it has served me well…as did my Navy training (as a submariner).
We have a small post about the reunion on OP-FOR…
